#TUNETUESDAY: November 19, 2013

Okay, today’s #TUNETUESDAY pick is a little baffling, it is my second favourite track from Kanye West’s album ‘Yeezus’ and is called ‘Bound 2’. I was super shocked at how much I liked this song the first time I heard it, scanning through the album on my drive into work. It was stuck in my head all day. Some of the lines in the track made me laugh out loud, I couldn’t get over how badly I wanted to get back in my car after work and put it on repeat.

Yesterday, Kanye premiered the video on Ellen and I am a little blown away by it for different reasons. One, the horses and majestic views that open the video are pretty cheesy… but beautiful so I don’t mind looking at them. Two, Kim K is gorgeous. Nothing more to say on that front, I think she has the most amazing body and clearly has no shame showing off her post baby curves as she rides on Kanye’s bike nearly naked through various backgrounds (and really why would she?).

I would not advise watching this video at your desk (like I am) you may just find yourself blushing a little (I did) and then showing your fellow co-workers and debating what it all means. I really hope this video does not have the ‘Jenny from the Block’ effect, I love Kim and Kanye together; regardless they are now bound together until the end of time in this video and baby North West.

Hot and confusing, just the way I like it…happy Tune Tuesday!

First Looks At Baby North West and Kanye West's Interview On Kris

Keeping it in the family, Kanye West visited the Kris show today and talked about being a 'musical genius' and a new dad. Kris of course is Kris Kardashian Jenner, the mother of Kanye's boo Kim Kardashian. During Kanye's visit he offered up the first photos of baby North West, his precious two month old daughter.

When you read what he says in the Rolling Stone article it comes off as 50% ramblings of a egocentric maniac, 49% I better do this interview or this crazy lady (mother of my baby's Mama is going to kill me) and 1% man changed by love and a new baby . But, watching the videos is completely different. I judged all this self promotion (for both Kris and Kanye) as a all you can eat buffet to feed their egos, but in the videos of the interview Kanye actually comes off more like a cuddly teddy bear (not unlike the bear blasting off into new adventures on the cover of Graduation).

Here is an a quote from the Rolling Stone article, quoting Kanye on the Kris show.

"The only thing I want to do in life is help people, and that's what's so disturbing about being written up in society as being some type of enemy. The last thing I would want to happen to my daughter is some crazy drunk black guy in a leather shirt to come up and cut her off at an awards show."

If you want to let Kanye finish you can read the rest of the article on Rolling Stone. Or check out the YouTube video. Both are posted below.
